What time can I check in?
From 3:00 pm. You are very welcome to arrive earlier and relax in the garden or on the terrace until your lodge is ready.

Check-out is between 8:30 and 10:00 am.

How many lodges and suites are there?
There are 8 lodges and 6 suites at Amolaris.
Are all the lodges the same?
Lodges 1–6 share the same layout, with pitched roofs and views of the apple orchard and wildflower meadow.
Lodges 7–8 feature flat roofs, a different interior layout and walled gardens for enhanced privacy.

Where are the suites located?
The suites are located on the first and second floors of the Amolaris Guesthouse.

Do the lodges or suites have two bedrooms?
No. All lodges and suites have 1 bedroom. Children or additional guests can sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.

Is there a more affordable lodge option?
Yes. The Lodge Garden Spa Select is around 20% more affordable than the other lodges.

Is the lodge garden fully enclosed?
Yes. Every lodge has a 100 m² private, fully enclosed garden, offering complete privacy throughout your stay.
What type of coffee machine is available in the lodge?
A fully automatic coffee machine.
Are the lodges accessible?
Yes. The lodges and the Atrium – including the breakfast room, library and Honesty Bar – are accessible. The suites in the Guesthouse are not accessible.
Can I book without breakfast?
No. Breakfast is included in the accommodation price and is freshly prepared every day by your host Wally.
How does breakfast work?
Breakfast is served in the Atrium and is included in the price. Every day, Wally prepares a fresh and wholesome selection – made with ♡ by Wally.

An optional breakfast box is also available for an additional charge and can be delivered directly to your lodge or suite, filled with regional and homemade specialities.

Who prepares the gourmet breakfast?
Your host Wally prepares the gourmet breakfast fresh for you every day.
Do you offer half board?
No. We have deliberately chosen not to offer half board, giving you the freedom to discover the local mountain huts, alpine inns and restaurants throughout the surrounding area.
What is the Homechefbox?
The Homechefbox brings restaurant-style dishes straight to your lodge or suite – ready for you to finish and enjoy at your own pace. €13.50

How it works:
Simply take your smartphone, scan the QR code and choose your preferred menu. Order by midnight on the previous day and your box will be delivered to your lodge or suite the following day. Using the simple instructions provided, you finish the dishes yourself.

Our tips for relaxed preparation:
Choose the same dishes for everyone for each course.
Warm sauces and soups in their jars in a hot water bath.

Can you reserve a table at a restaurant for us?
Of course. We will be happy to reserve a table for you at one of our recommended restaurants in the surrounding area.

What is the Honesty Bar?
The Honesty Bar is a fully equipped self-service bar in the Atrium, available to all Amolaris guests. Choose from regional wines, soft drinks, aperitifs, beer, spirits and gin, with fresh herbs from the garden to garnish your drink.

Opening hours: 8:00 am–10:00 pm

Drinks are charged conveniently via the app using the QR code.

Where can I buy the apple juice?
Our organic apple juice is produced by EVA in Latsch and is available from the Honesty Bar at Amolaris.

What is the Guesthouse?
The Guesthouse is the original main house at Amolaris, dating back to 1970. It is home to the indoor pool and 6 suites.

Indoor pool opening hours: 8:00 am–8:00 pm

Wellness facilities include a Finnish sauna, steam bath and infrared cabin.

The 3 × 9 m indoor pool features an integrated counter-current system and whirlpool.

Do you offer housekeeping?
We have deliberately chosen not to provide automatic daily housekeeping, in keeping with our commitment to the environment. Our housekeeping team will, of course, be happy to clean your lodge or suite on request.

Housekeeping: €40.00 per day

Towels can be changed daily as needed, and both towel and bed linen changes are complimentary on request.

Is there a washing machine?
Yes. There is a shared laundry room in the Guesthouse with a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing station.

Can you arrange flowers as a surprise?
Yes. We will be happy to arrange a beautiful bouquet of flowers for you and have it waiting in your lodge or suite upon arrival.

Simply let us know your preferences and budget in advance.

Can we bring our dog?
Dogs are welcome on request in selected suites and in the Lodge Garden Spa, subject to limited availability.

The surcharge is €35.00 per pet, per day.

To ensure that both two- and four-legged guests feel completely at ease, we kindly ask you to observe a few house rules:

  • Dogs are not permitted in the breakfast area, communal garden or Atrium.
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead in all public areas.
  • Four-legged guests are welcome on the sun terrace above the indoor pool.
  • A dedicated dog station is available for your daily walks.
  • We reserve the right to charge for any additional cleaning, damage caused or urine stains on the lawn.

For hygiene reasons and out of consideration for guests with allergies, we deliberately do not use carpets in lodges and suites that accommodate pets.

We will be happy to provide a dog bed and food bowl upon arrival.

Can our dog join us for breakfast?
No. Dogs are not permitted in the breakfast area.
Can we charge our electric car?
Yes. There is 1 EV charging station available at Amolaris.

Is Amolaris open in winter?
Our aim is to keep Amolaris open for you during the winter season as well. We will be delighted to keep you informed as soon as winter stays become available. Have you already signed up for our newsletter?
Can we travel to Merano with the South Tyrol Guest Pass?
Yes. The train station is just a 10-minute walk from Amolaris, and you can travel to Merano free of charge on the Vinschgau Railway with the South Tyrol Guest Pass.
Can we start hiking directly from Amolaris?
Yes. Several beautiful hiking routes start directly from Amolaris.

You can also combine hiking with the Vinschgau Railway. The train station is just a 10-minute walk from Amolaris, with connections approximately every 30 minutes. Travel on the Vinschgau Railway and other public transport services is complimentary for Amolaris guests with the South Tyrol Guest Pass.

A rainy day at Amolaris can be wonderfully relaxing – or the perfect opportunity to discover some of the region’s cultural and culinary highlights.

Amolaris was designed and furnished by Wally, Martin and Katharina in collaboration with the architectural team at HS Architects.
What does “Amolaris” mean?
The name “Amolaris” is an original creation inspired by the Italian word “mola”, meaning millstone.
